She is responsible for the prevention, surveillance and control of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), as well as for developing and delivering staff training and health education programmes in infection prevention and control. She has also been a member of the Institute&#8217;s <strong>Clinical Risk Committee<\/strong> since 2010 and the <strong>Quality Group<\/strong> since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Bollino obtained her Diploma in Nursing from the <strong>&#8220;E. Agnelli&#8221; School of Nursing<\/strong> in Pinerolo (Turin) in 1995 and completed a <strong>University Master&#8217;s Degree in the Prevention and Control of Healthcare-Associated Infections<\/strong> at the University of Turin in 2003. She is registered with the <strong>Order of Nursing Professions of Turin (OPI Turin)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She works in close collaboration with the Medical Directorate, partnering with infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, hospital pharmacists, nursing coordinators, infection prevention technicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams across the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her role, Dr. Bollino promotes and monitors the implementation of evidence-based infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), sterilisation procedures and patient isolation measures.
