Dr. Maurizio Grosso graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin and subsequently specialised in Radiodiagnostics.
He began his professional career in the University Radiology Department at San Giovanni Battista Hospital (Molinette) in Turin, where he worked as an assistant and later as a physician. From 1994 to 1998, he was responsible for the Diagnostic Imaging and Percutaneous Treatment of Vascular Diseases Unit.
From 1998 to 2019, he served as Director of Radiology at Santa Croce and Carle Hospital in Cuneo. From 2002, he also served as Director of the Radiology Department and, from 2017, as Director of the Interagency Department of Services.
Throughout his academic career, he has held teaching positions in the Schools of Specialisation in General Surgery, Radiology, Emergency Surgery and Vascular Surgery at the University of Turin. He currently teaches in the School of Specialisation in Radiodiagnostics and on the degree programme in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques at the University of Turin.
He has participated in more than 300 national and international congresses and continuing professional development courses.
