Dr. Giorgio Borretta graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin and subsequently specialised in Endocrinology at the University of Turin and in Diabetology at the University of Genoa.
He developed his professional career at S. Croce e Carle Hospital in Cuneo, where he held the position of Director of Complex Structure and Department.
Since 2022, Dr. Borretta has been working at INOC as an Endocrinology consultant.
He has held several leadership roles within national and international professional organisations, including National Advisor of the Italian Society of Endocrinology (SIE), National President of the Association of Medical Endocrinologists (AME), and President of the Italian Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
Dr. Borretta has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences.
