Dr. Elena Crisà

Dr. Elena Crisà graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin, where she subsequently specialised in Haematology and obtained a PhD. During her training, she also undertook a period of research and clinical training in Haematology at King’s College London.
She subsequently gained professional experience in Turin within the University Haematology Department of the City of Health and Science and in Novara at the University of Eastern Piedmont (UNIUPO) and Maggiore della Carità Hospital.
Since 2022, she has been working at INOC as a Haematologist. Her main scientific and clinical focus is on myeloid diseases, including myelodysplastic syndromes, acute myeloid leukaemia and chronic myeloproliferative neoplasms. She also serves as Coordinator of the Institute’s Myeloproliferative Syndromes Interdisciplinary Care Group (GIC).
She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation and of the European Hematology Association’s Scientific Working Group on Quality of Life.
She is the author and co author of approximately 50 scientific publications and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
