Dr. Elisabetta Brizio graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin and subsequently specialised in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy at the same university.
Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in critical care medicine at Savigliano Hospital (ASL CN1), where she served as Head of the Intensive Care Unit from 2022.
Dr. Brizio acted as the GIVITI (Italian Group for the Evaluation of Interventions in Intensive Care) liaison for the Savigliano Intensive Care Unit and for the south-western area of the Piedmont Region. Within GIVITI, a research network affiliated with the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan, she was also a member of the Infection Surveillance Group from 2018 to 2022.
Since 2020, she has served as coordinator for organ and tissue donation in the northern area of ASL CN1, promoting the culture of donation within both hospital and community settings through collaboration with schools, local authorities and healthcare professionals in the Province of Cuneo.
