Dr. Giovanni Grignani graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia and subsequently specialised in Internal Medicine and Oncology at the University of Turin.
Throughout his career, he has worked as a Medical Director at several hospitals in Piedmont, including S. Andrea Hospital in Vercelli and Mauriziano Hospital in Lanzo.
Since 1998, he has been working at INOC – Istituto Nazionale Oncologico Candiolo, where he has served as Director of the Complex Medical Oncology Unit since 2025.
He has held several national and international roles in the field of sarcoma and rare tumours, including Secretary of the Italian Sarcoma Group, Head of the Institute’s Interdisciplinary Care Group for Sarcomas and Rare Tumours, and Institutional Lead for EURACAN, EORTC and FOSTER.
He is the author and co author of numerous scientific publications and has contributed to national and international conferences.
