Dr. Lara Valentina Comini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy, and subsequently specialised in Otolaryngology at the University of Pisa.
During her training, she undertook clinical and educational experiences at several Italian and European oncology institutions and participated in a thyroid surgery programme in Africa.
She began her professional career at the University Hospital of Careggi in Florence and has been working at INOC since 2021 as a member of the Otolaryngology Team.
Her clinical practice focuses on thyroid surgery and head and neck surgery, including procedures involving the nose, oral cavity and larynx, using advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques.
She is a member of SIO (Italian Society of Otolaryngology) and is the author and co author of numerous scientific publications. She has also presented her work at national and international conferences.
