Dr. Loretta Gammaitoni graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Milan and subsequently specialised in Microbiology and Virology at the University of Turin.
Throughout her career, she has gained professional experience in Milan at the Institute of Pharmacological Sciences, in Novara at Azienda Sanitaria Maggiore della Carità , and in Turin at Molinette Hospital.
Since 2000, she has been working at INOC as a Level I Director Biologist. Until 2020, she worked in the Medical Oncology Laboratory and, since 2020, has been working in the Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratory.
She is the author and co author of approximately 90 scientific publications in international journals indexed in the Science Citation Index, as well as numerous oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences.
