Dr. Massimo Battistella graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and later completed his residency in Anesthesia Resuscitation and Intensive Care.

Over the years, he has been practicing between Molinette Hospital (Cardiac Surgery 1991-1994) and Gradenigo Hospital (1994-1999).

He has been working at INOC since 1999, as a first-level executive in the Anesthesia and Resuscitation team with the position of referral for invasive activity.

Dr. Battistella has served as a member of the Hospital Infection Control Committee and has undertaken advanced training in vascular access and pain management.

His professional qualifications include certification as an Accredited Trainer for the Pain-Free Hospital Programme (Turin, 1st Edition), participation in the 4th Multidisciplinary Advanced Course on Venous Access (London, 2010), the European Masterclass on the Insertion and Maintenance of Vascular Access Devices for Physicians and Nurses – Short- and Long-Term Central Venous Access (Barcelona, 2017), and the Workshop on Implantable Vascular Access Devices (Rome, 2018).
