Dr. Paola Boccone graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin and subsequently completed her residency in Medical Oncology at the same university.
Following her specialisation, she continued her clinical and research activities at INOC, participating as a sub-investigator in Phase II and Phase III clinical trials in the field of soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
From 2019 to 2024, Dr. Boccone served as a Medical Director in the Internal Medicine Department at San Lorenzo Hospital in Carmagnola, where she gained extensive experience in the management of patients with complex multimorbidity and in acute care. She subsequently joined the Oncology Department at Cardinal Massaia Hospital in Asti, focusing on the treatment of breast and gynaecological cancers.
Since 2025, Dr. Boccone has been serving as a Medical Director in the Medical Oncology Department at INOC, providing care across inpatient, day hospital and outpatient settings. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated diagnostic and therapeutic pathways and actively participates in clinical trials dedicated to soft tissue and bone sarcomas.
Dr. Boccone is the author and co-author of several scientific publications and is an active member of leading oncology societies, including the Italian Sarcoma Group (ISG), the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
