Dr. Paola D’Elia initially obtained a diploma from the Women’s Technical School for Economics and Dietetics, followed by a Dietetics diploma from the School of Dietitians directed by Professor Franco Balzola at S. Giovanni Battista Hospital in Turin. She subsequently obtained a degree in Dietetics from the University of Gabriele d’Annunzio in Chieti.
From December 1998 to February 2001, she worked as a Dietitian in the Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Service at Ospedale Mauriziano Umberto I in Turin.
Since March 2001, she has been working as a Dietitian in the Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Service at INOC, where she is responsible for the nutritional management of oncology patients treated at the Institute.
She is also the contact person for the Institute’s food service and for Quality Management within the Outpatient Clinic.
Since October 2013, she has served as a Clinical Tutor for students enrolled in the Dietetics degree programme at the University of Turin.
She has contributed to 15 scientific publications on nutritional and dietary topics and has served as a speaker at five courses on nutrition.
