Dr. Sara Dall’Armellina obtained her medical degree from the University of Turin, where she subsequently completed her residency in Nuclear Medicine in 2023. Following her specialisation, she worked for approximately two years in a Nuclear Medicine department in the Lombardy Region, further consolidating her clinical expertise. During the same period, she obtained a Level I Master’s Degree in Oncological Imaging from the University of Pisa.
She had previously obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Radiology, Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques, which provided the foundation for her interest in diagnostic imaging and technological innovation in medicine.
Since 2025, she has been working at INOC as a member of the Nuclear Medicine Team, where she is involved in both clinical and research activities in diagnostic imaging, radionuclide therapy and personalised medicine.
Her main area of expertise is oncological imaging, with a particular focus on the use of radiopharmaceutical tracers for prostate cancer. She has gained extensive clinical and research experience in this field and contributed to the development of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine (AIMN) guidelines on the use of different radiopharmaceuticals in prostate cancer.
She is the author and co author of several scientific publications and regularly participates in national and international continuing professional development courses and scientific conferences, keeping abreast of the latest advances in Nuclear Medicine and contributing to their dissemination.
