Dr. Danilo Giuseppe Faraci

Dr. Danilo Giuseppe Faraci graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania and subsequently specialised in Haematology at the University of Turin.
Throughout his career, he has gained professional experience in Turin at the City of Health and Science, Molinette Hospital, and in Novara at AOU Maggiore della Carità.
Since 2023, he has been working at INOC as a member of the Haematology Team and within the Stem Cell Transplantation Centre, providing care in the inpatient and Day Hospital settings for oncohaematological patients.
He has specific expertise in autologous and allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, including stem cell infusion, the management of transplant related complications and long term follow up.
He is a member of several national and international scientific societies and professional organisations, including SIE (Italian Society of Haematology), SIES (Italian Society of Experimental Haematology), the Piedmont and Aosta Valley Oncology Network, GITMO (Italian Group for Bone Marrow Transplantation, Haematopoietic Stem Cells and Cell Therapy) and EHA (European Hematology Association).
He is the author and co author of approximately 21 scientific publications and has presented his work at national and international conferences.
